Brrrrrrrr!

I think we should all be bears and hibernate until Spring.

I'll tell you the good things that have come from January though. I've had the chance to read lots of enjoyable books. The Magic of Ordinary Days was one and I saw the tail end of the Hallmark movie version which varied greatly but I may have liked the ending better. I found a princess series by Gail Carson Levine that Annie and I have been enjoying cuddling up and reading together. I've discovered the most wonderful brownie mix-- Ghiradelli's double chocolate. Mix it, bake it, love it. I may never go back to homemade. I've also been trying to do my last year's picture printing/scrapbooking. I'll admit, a photo album and keeping a journal is as far as I take scrapbooking. Anyhoo, here are some pictures that I don't think I've posted. It's been fun to look back and see how things have changed. Katie's hair is growing back, Annie's not in as many pics because she's at school, and Caleb is no longer a baby. . .well, he's still my baby.

Nativity

We did our traditional nativity Christmas Eve with my family which is always fun with kids and Dad's scriptural insights are great.

Caleb and Addie together look like a Precious Moments Mary and Joseph, don't you think?

I have to tell you that we got to go to the coolest live nativity I have ever been to thanks to Brad's mom. Our old Provo 1st ward puts on a nativity where they recreate the town of Bethlehem complete with sheep, geese, innkeeper, Romans, roasting meat, chickens for sale, etc. The smells and music where authentic and it made for a neat night. Anyone want to come next year?
